How do I enter final grades for my classes into TopNet?

Resolution

With the upgrade to Banner 9, ITS is aware of a bug affecting column sorting within the Final Grades tool, where the first click on a column header will attempt to pick up the column to move it. On your first attempt to sort, double-click the column header. Subsequent sorting can then be done with a single click
WKU ITS is only able to provide assistance with navigation regarding final grade entry in TopNet. Please contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance with all other grading issues. 
  1. Login to TopNet.
  2. Click Faculty Services tab.
  3. Click Final Grades.
  4. Click row containing course. 
    1. To search courses, click search bar to type. 
    2. To sort by column, click column header
      Note: On your first attempt to sort, double-click the column header. Subsequent sorting can then be done with a single click. 
  5. Student list will appear. Click individual student dropdown within Final Grade column to assign grades. 
    1. To search students, click search bar to type. 
    2. To sort by column, click column header.
      Note: On your first attempt to sort, double-click the column header. Subsequent sorting can then be done with a single click. 
    3. To record student withdrawal, click date picker within Last Attend Date column to select student's last attendance date. 
  6. Click Save at any time to save changes. Click Reset to clear unsaved changes.
