How do I send an email from one address but have responses automatically delivered to a different account?

Environment

  • Microsoft Windows
    • Outlook 2016

Resolution

Method 1: Add a Reply-To Address

  1. Click  New Email.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click  Direct Replies To.
  4. In the Delivery Options section, check the box next to Have replies sent to and enter the desired email address.
  5. Click Close.
  6. Compose and send the message. All responses will deliver to the address set above.

Method 2: Create Inbox Rules to Redirect Messages

If you do not have access to an email program that supports Reply-To address fields, you may use Inbox Rules to redirect reply emails to another address.
