Issue/Question

I have tried multiple times to install updates on my Mac, but continue to receive the following notification:

Updates Not Installed: Some updates could not be installed automatically.

Environment

  • macOS

Resolution

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Navigate to Applications.
  3. Open App Store.
  4. Click on the Updates tab to view available updates.
  5. Navigate to Apple Support Downloads and search for the name of the update that will not install.
     Note: Ensure you select the correct update for your specific OS version.
  6. Download and run the update file.
  7. Follow the instructions provided by Installer.
