How do I add a student Course Section to a Blackboard Course Site?
Environment
Resolution
- Log into Blackboard.
- Select the My WKU Bb menu.
- Select the ITS: Faculty Tools link.
- Click the Students tab.
- Select Add Student Sections option.
- Click the Select Term dropdown menu.
- Select the term of the site to which you want to add students.
- Click Submit.
- Click Add Students for the site where you wish to add your student sections.
- Check the Check Box for the correct Course Section.
Note: If you need to enroll more than one student section in Blackboard, the courses must be cross-listed with eachother in TopNet by the WKU Office of the Registrar. The option to cross-list courses is strictly the decision of the WKU Office of the Registrar. Please complete the FERPA and Merged Blackboard Courses form on the Add Students page to request that 2 or more classes are cross-listed.
- Click Submit.
- Repeat this for each Course Site to enroll all students into their course.
Note: These changes won't be reflected until a Blackboard update is completed.
