I am attending an online video conference. What do I need to do to be ready?
Resolution
- Check your equipment. Ensure you have a working microphone and speakers. If you plan to use video, make sure you have a webcam. Most laptops and all-in-one desktops include these, while traditional desktops may require external devices.
- Prepare your system. Install or open the required conferencing application such as Zoom or Teams. Make sure your browser or application is up to date, and log in ahead of time.
- Test before joining. Join a test meeting if available and confirm your camera, microphone, and speakers are working properly. Also check that your internet connection is stable.
