Reserving a Laptop from TopperTech

Issue/Question

How do WKU faculty, staff, and students complete a laptop reservation?

Environment

  • Connect2 Laptop Reservation System

Resolution

  1. Navigate to https://toppertech.wku.edu/reservations/.
  2. Log in with your NetID and password.
  3. Select Reserve by Category.
  4. Choose the desired type of laptop: Dell Laptops or Apple MacBooks.
  5. Choose specific laptop model you would like to reserve and click Create Reservation (ex. MacBook Air, MacBook Air - M1 2020, MacBook Pro, and so on).
  6. Specify Start Date/Time and End Date/Time.  
    • By default, reservations have a duration of 7 days.
    • Dell laptops can be reserved up to 18 weeks, or until the end of the semester.
    • Apple MacBooks can be reserved up to 9 weeks, or until the end of the semester.
    • Reservations can only be made up to 4 weeks in advance.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Read Policies Agreement and check the check box at the bottom of the page to acknowledge the agreement.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Review pickup date, return date, and resources on verification page. If adjustments need to be made, click Back.
  11. Click Submit.
  12. The reservation is now confirmed. Reserved equipment can be picked up at the Technical Support Services window on the third floor of Jody Richards Hall during normal business hours.
