Software Requires .Net Framework 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5 to Install

Issue/Question

How do I install .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5 required for my software installation?

Environment

• WKU Managed Windows Computer

Resolution

1. Click search bar next to Windows logo  at bottom left of screen.
2. Type Software Center.
3. Click Software Center app (icon is a blue building and compact disc).
4. In Software Center, go to Applications section.
5. Locate option labeled .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0 packages as well).
6. Click .NET Framework 3.5.
7. Click Install.
8. After installation completes, run Make Me Admin and attempt installing software requiring .NET Framework again.
