Sharing Blackboard Portfolios

How do I share my Portfolio?

Environment

• Blackboard

Resolution

1. Log into Blackboard.
2. Click Tools. 
3. Click Portfolios.
4. Under the desired portfolio, select More.
5. Click Share.
6. Hover over Share a Snapshot With and select the necessary option.
   1. Users - This allows sharing of the portfolio with one specific user (such as an instructor).
   2. External Users - This allows sharing of the portfolio with non-WKU personnel.
   3. Courses - This allows sharing of the portfolio with an entire course.
   4. Organizations - This allows sharing of the portfolio with a Blackboard Organization.
7. If you are sharing with a specific person, such as an instructor, you will need to type their NetID in the Username field.
   Note: The browse feature only allows you to search for people who have opted in to being searched.
8. Click Submit.
