Inserting an Image Issue in Web CMS

Instructions for resolving an issue with images appearing as broken when they are inserted in to a page.

Issue/Question

When I insert an image into a page it appears as a broken image.

Environment

• Web CMS

Cause

This could be a cache issue.

Resolution

1. Clear the cache of the browser or use a different browser.
2. Navigate to the content area that has the broken image.
3. Delete the image.
4. Insert the image again.
5. Save the page.
6. If the image still appears broken, try to publish the page and see if it appears.
7. Make sure that the image itself is published.
