Issue/Question
What is the difference between digested and undigested members in a mailing list?
Resolution
Digested
members
of mailing lists are subscribers who have chosen to receive mailings from the list as a periodical collection of postings (a digest) rather than individually each time someone posts to the list.
Undigested
members
are subscribers who receive each list mailing as it is sent, either because they have chosen to do so or do not have the choice of switching to 'digest' mode because of the way the list is configured.
