Is it safe to release a message that has an emergency hold?
Environment
Cause
Emergency mode is enabled on your mailing list.
Resolution
When Emergency mode is enabled on a mailing list, all messages are moderated, including those from trusted senders. If you approve of the message to be sent to the list, it is safe to release the message. If Emergency mode is not desirable, the list administrator may remove it through the control panel.
