How do I apply a WKU theme to my Formstack form, and which WKU theme should I use?
Environment
- Formstack Suite platform (currently focusing on Forms module)
Cause
Forms are not automatically styled with WKU branding and must have a theme manually applied. Multiple WKU themes are available for different use cases.
Resolution
A WKU theme can also be selected when creating a new form during the initial setup process. It is recommended to select a WKU theme at that time. If a theme is not selected, it can be applied later or changed using the steps below.
- Log in to Formstack.
- Open form that needs to be styled.
- Select Style tab at top of form builder.
- In Themes Library, use Search for Themes field to search for WKU.
- Locate one of the following themes:
- WKU - Includes a header and footer. Use this theme when the form is hosted on a standalone Formstack page.
- WKU Embeddable - Use this theme when the form will be embedded into a WKU web page to avoid duplicate headers and layout conflicts.
- Hover over desired theme and select Apply.
- Select Save to apply theme.
Note: The form preview within the builder may not display all theme styles accurately. Always use view the live form to confirm the final appearance.
