Resolution

In order to access the Personal, Shared and Secure drives, you must be connected to the WKU-Secure wireless network or a hard-wired Ethernet connection on campus, or use the Cisco VPN while off campus.

Method 1: Automatic Mount

  1. Download the WKU Fix P and S Drives batch file.
  2. Open the file.
  3. It will open in Command Prompt and will remind you to connect to the VPN if you are off campus.
  4. Enter your NetID.
  5. You will be prompted to save and close any documents that may be stored on the network drives.
  6. When ready, press Enter.
  7. The drives will automatically reconnect.
  8. If any issues are encountered, or if you need access to the Secure (U:) drive, continue to Method 2 below.

Method 2: Manual Mount

When mapping the network drives on a non-WKU computer you will need to select Connect using different credentials. When prompted for your credentials, enter ad\NetID replacing NetID with your own NetID. Also enter your NetID password.
