Lenel OnGuard Software Not Displaying Correctly

Issue/Question

When I try to use the Lenel OnGuard Electronic Access Control software, some fields overlap others.

Environment

• WKU-owned machine
  • Windows 10

Cause

Windows Display scaling is set above 100%.

Resolution

If possible, change the scaling to 100%. If this size is not desired, change the per-application, override high DPI scaling behavior.

1. Open the specific application where you are experiencing this (e.g. System Administration, Alarm Monitoring, etc.).
2. Right-click the icon in the taskbar.
3. Right-click the name of the application.
4. Select Properties.
5. Click on the Compatibility tab.
6. Check Override high DPI scaling behavior.
7. In the Scaling performed by: drop-down, choose either System or System (enhanced). It may require some trial to determine which looks better. Both options will probably be somewhat blurry, as it essentially "stretches to fit" for the screen, but should make the program usable.
8. Click OK.
9. Restart the application.
