What devices are unable to connect to the WKU network?

Resolution

Currently, these devices cannot connect to the wired or wireless network:

  • Google Chromecast
  • Google Nest Hub
  • Nintendo Wii cannot get wireless access. The Wii has to have a LAN adapter.
  • Routers or other network extending equipment.
  • Wireless Printers
  • Apple AirPlay is disabled on WKU's network; however, Apple TVs can access internet on a wireless and wired connection.
  • FitBit Versa
  • Sonos speakers
  • Lovebox devices
  • Most wireless security cameras
  • Robot vacuums, such as Roomba and Eufy
