Renaming Your Participant Name in a Zoom Meeting

How do I change my participant name in a Zoom meeting?

Resolution

1. While in the meeting click the Manage Participants button, located on the bottom ribbon of the Zoom meeting.The Participants panel will appear in the Zoom meeting window.
2. You will see a list of all the participants in the meeting, including yourself. Hover your mouse cursor over your name and click the More button, then the Rename button that appears to the side of it.
3. In the popup box that appears, type your new participant name. 
4. Press Enter or click OK. You should see your new name in the participants window.
