Adding Gadgets to the Sidebar

How do I add a gadget to the sidebar?

Environment

• Omni CMS

Cause

Gadgets provide helpful functions when working in Omni CMS.  Not all gadgets are enabled by default and some must be added to the sidebar.

Resolution

1. Log into Omni CMS.
2. Click the Show Gadgets button, located towards the top right, to open the gadgets sidebar.
3. Click the icon next to the title Gadgets.
4. A the Manage Sidebar pop-up window will appear.
   • Enabled gadgets are highlighted in green with a checkmark.
5. Scroll or use the Filter text box to locate the gadget you want to add.
6. Click anywhere on the gadget to add it.
7. Click Save to close the window.
