Using the Client Portal


The WKU ITS Unit's Client Portal is a convenient way to request ITS assistance and search informational articles to resolve your ITS questions. The Client Portal gives you easy access to our Service Catalog and Knowledge Base.


Home Tab

The Home tab can display helpful information, such as services you recently requested, services you mark as favorites, and new Knowledge Base articles. For more information on customizing your Home tab please click here.


Service Catalog

The Service Catalog is a convenient way to request services without having to contact the ITS Service Desk. Through the Service Catalog you are able to make requests, check the status of your outstanding requests, and communicate with technicians working on your requests by commenting on them. Knowledge Base

The self-help Knowledge Base is full of helpful articles with content driven by you, the WKU Community! The Knowledge Base houses numerous articles written by ITS to help with accounts, technology, and systems. For more information about using the Knowledge Base please click here.



Every user of the Client Portal has a profile. You can add a picture of yourself, update your alert email, and contact information. Your profile is only viewable by ITS employees. For more information about editing your Client Portal profile please click here.
