Cropping Images Using Microsoft Paint

Issue/Question

How do I crop an image using Microsoft Paint? 

Environment

  • Microsoft Paint

Resolution

  1. In Paint, open the photo you wish to crop. 
  2. Click the Select  button in the ribbon at the top of the screen. 
  3. Click Rectangular Selection. 
  4. Click and drag the Rectangular Selection Tool over the area of the image you wish to keep. 
  5. Click Crop in the ribbon at the top of the screen. 
  6. Save the image.
