Invalid Filename Error in Web CMS

Issue/Question

When uploading an image to Web CMS, I get the following error message:

Invalid filename.

Environment

  • Web CMS

Cause

Image files cannot contain capital letters in the filename or extension.

Resolution

  1. Select More actions (...) to right of Invalid filename error.
  2. Click RENAME.
  3. Choose Filename field and adjust image name and file extension ensuring there are no capital letters used.
      Example: Summer2024 is invalid, but summer2024.jpg is valid.
  4. Once renamed, click START UPLOAD.
