Disabling Adware Add-ons

 How do I stop the ads and pop-ups on my machine?

Environment

• Firefox

Cause

Adware add-on is installed in the web browser.

Resolution

1. Open Firefox.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Add-ons.
4. Go to ​Extensions.
5. View the Add-ons and Browser Extensions.
6. Disable the Adware extensions.
7. Remove the Adware extension.
8. Restart the browser.
