Resolution
If you have another Adobe Creative Suite (CS) application, you can deactivate Acrobat. If you do not have another CS application, Acrobat will need to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
Deactivating and Reactivating
- Start up another CS application such as Photoshop.
- Click Help.
- Select Deactivate.
- Select Deactivate permanently.
- Close any open CS products.
- Open Acrobat Pro.
- The program will be in trial mode.
- Enter in your serial number to activate the product.
- Acrobat Pro should now open and allow you to use the application.
Uninstalling and Reinstalling
- Click Start.
- Select Control Panel.
- Select Add or Remove Programs.
- Remove Adobe Acrobat and/or Creative Suite.
- Reboot the computer.
- Install the software again and complete the registration process with your serial number.
