How do I create a calendar feed on my page?
Environment

Resolution
While editing an editable region, click
Insert
Component
in the WYSIWYG editor toolbar.
In the
Choose
Component
box, click
Calendar
Feed
.
Click
Insert
.
Under Edit Component, enter information in the form fields.
Calendar ID
- The unique ID associated with the Calendar Add-On from which you are wanting to show events. To find the ID associated with a Calendar Add-On, you can do so by logging into
OU Add-Ons
and selecting
Calendars
.
Events
- The number of calendar events to display in the feed.
Style
- The look and feel of the feed. Some feed styles are too large for side columns, remember to select a style that fits your page layout from the styles. For a more in-depth description of the various feed style, and some examples, visit our

.
Category ID (Optional)
- Specify a Category ID to only display events from a category. To find the ID associated with a calendar category, you can do so by logging into
OU Add-Ons
, selecting
Calendars
, and then clicking on the
Manage Categories Icon
next to the appropriate Calendar Add-On listed.
Open Links in New Tab
- Open calendar feed event links in a new tab or window.
When done, click
Save
.
Save your page.
Note:
When previewing the page you will see a placeholder with the available settings displayed. Since the news asset contains PHP code you can only see the final product after publishing.
