How do I find a MAC address in ChromeOS?

Resolution

Using Google's Connect to WiFi

  1. If you haven't yet, sign into your Chromebook. 
  2. Click you account photo
  3. Click the Wi-Fi network  icon.
  4. At the top of the box, click Information .
  5. You'll see your Chromebook's IP address and IPv6 address. The MAC address is labeled as Wi-Fi

Using Chrome's System Information

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the address bar, type chrome://system.
  3. Scroll down to the section labeled ifconfig.
  4. Click Expand... in the row named ifconfig.
  5. Identify the network interface you require the MAC address for. It may be labeled wlan0 or have a 161 or 172 address next to inet if you device is connected to a WKU network.
  6. The MAC address is located next to ether two rows below.
