Renaming Your Participant Name in a Zoom Meeting

How do I change my participant name in a Zoom meeting?

  • Zoom
  • MacOS
  • Windows

Resolution

  1. While in meeting, click Participants in bottom toolbar.
  2. In Participants panel, locate your name in participant list.
  3. Hover over your name and click More.
  4. Click Rename.
  5. Type new participant name.
  6. Press Enter or select OK.
  7. Updated name will appear in Participants panel.
