How do I copy files and text between my computer and an AppStreaming app?

It is recommended to use the Horizon Client app on whatever device you have available. Reference the Saving Work With AppStreaming article for more information. Alternatively, for Windows computers, Firefox provides the best browser experience. For macOS, Chrome or Edge will provide the best browser experience.
Sending Files to App in a Browser
- Expand Horizon's side menu.
- Click Open File Transfer panel.
- In the Upload tab, click Choose Files.
- Navigate to and select the file(s) you want to work on in the streamed app.
- Click Upload.
- In the streamed app, click File > Open.
- Select Documents from the Quick Access pane.
- The uploaded file(s) will appear and can be opened to work on.
Saving Files from an App in a Browser
- Expand Horizon's side menu.
- Click Open File Transfer panel.
- In the streamed app, click File > Save As.
- Select Documents from the Quick Access pane.
- Name the file as desired.
- Click Save.
- While still in the streamed app, click File > Save As again, and return to Documents.
- Right-click the file just saved. Select Copy.
- In the File Transfer panel in your browser, click the Download tab.
- The copied file will appear. Click (Download) to save the file to your computer's Downloads folder.
Copying Text to an App in a Browser
As noted above, copying text may only work one-way, if at all. For Safari on macOS, the Copy & Paste panel must be open for the feature to work:
- Expand Horizon's side menu.
- Click Open Copy & Paste panel.
- On your computer, select and copy the text you want to use in the streamed app. It will appear in the panel.
- You can now paste the text in the streamed app.
