Still Needing Training

Issue/Question

When I add someone as a site manager or content coordinator to a page it says:

Needs Training.

Cause

This message will appear if a person hasn't completed OU Campus training.

Resolution

Verify that the person you are trying to add has completed OU Campus training. If they took the OU Campus Blackboard training verify that they have pushed the button under Final Task. You must do this before you can be given access to OU Campus.

 

Service Desk Consultants Only

If a client says that the person has fully completely training check their account.

  1. Login to BBAUX.
  2. Search for the client.
  3. Check their training status under OU Trained.
    • If No, check if they completed in person training by moving on to step 4.
    • If Yes, fill out ticket template Software and Enterprise Systems > OU Campus > Question or Problem and route to Enterprise Applications and Programming.
  4. Login to MGT Interface.
  5. Hover over HD Tools.
  6. Click OU Campus Trained Users.
  7. CTRL + F for the user.
    1. If they have not been trained online or in person they need to complete either training.
    2. If they have been trained in person, fill out ticket template Software and Enterprise Systems > OU Campus > Question or Problem and route to Application Support & WebDev.
