Issue/Question
When I send a document to my printer, a message on the printer states:
Load MP Tray
or
Load MP Feeder
Cause
The Manual Paper (MP) tray or feeder is used when the paper in the default tray does not match the size needed for the document to be printed. Often times a setting on the document, the program, the computer's installation of the printer, or the printer itself has been changed, incorrectly identifying the paper in the default tray as not suitable for the document.
Resolution
- Check the document's paper size through the document's Page Setup menu.
- Check the program's print settings.
- Check the printer's settings on the computer.
- Check the printer's settings on the printer itself.
