Receiving Password Must Be Different Error

Issue/Question

When I try to reset my NetID password from the WKU Accounts website, Even though I created a unique password, I receive a message saying: 

Invalid Password.
Your password can not be the same as your last password. If you continue to have problems, you will need to contact the IT Helpdesk at (270) 745-7000 for support. (ID: 938135)

Cause

The web page has been unintentionally submitted more than once.

Resolution

When submitting this web form, click the Change Password button only one time. It may take a moment to update your password. Allow the page to load completely before taking any other action. In most cases, you password has already been changed when you receive this message.

If you're still unable to log in, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
