Loading Many Pop-ups When Launching

Issue/Question

When I open Safari, several other pop-up windows open.

Environment

• Safari

Cause

A plug-in in Safari is creating pop-ups.

Resolution

1. Click Finder.
2. Select Go.
3. Choose Go To Folder.
4. For the folder path type, /Library/Internet Plug-ins/ without quotes, and click Go.
5. Move all the files out of this folder to a folder on the desktop.
6. Move 1 file back to the Internet Plug-ins folder.
7. Launch Safari.
8. If the problem occurs, delete the file that you just put in the Internet Plug-ins folder.
9. If Safari launches without any pop-ups, repeat steps 6 through 8.
