Trusted Sites Error

Issue/Question

When I try to open a link in Internet Explorer, I get the following error:

The current webpage is trying to open a site in your Trusted sites list. Do you want to allow this?

Environment

• Internet Explorer

Cause

The web page that Internet Explorer is trying to open is listed as a "Trusted Site" within Internet Explorer's security settings.

Resolution

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click on the Cog Wheel Icon (Or the Tools button in Internet Explorer 8).
3. Select Internet Options.
4. Select the Security Tab.
5. Click Trusted Sites.
6. Click Custom Level...
7. Locate the Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone.
8. Select Enable. 
9. Click OK.
10. Click Apply.
