How can I record attendance for my university-sponsored activity or event?

Environment

• iWKU app

Cause

As of summer 2022, attendance can be recorded using the iWKU app and scannable QR codes in place of physical card readers. You will no longer be able to use the old Card Reader Attendance system.

Resolution

1. Log in to the Activity Engagement admin.
2. Click Add Activity and enter information.
3. Click Add Activity at bottom of form.
4. Click View QR Code and print out desired format.
5. Place the scannable QR code at the event and participants will use the iWKU app to scan the QR code through the QR Widget on the home screen.
   Note: Participants must be signed in to the iWKU app with their NetID and password to be able to scan.
6. Click Add Records on the activity and add people who did not scan the QR code.
7. Click View Attendance on the activity, and click Open Report as PDF/Excel to generate an attendance report for the event.
