Issue/Question
I received an email that appears to be from WKU, but I want to verify the legitimacy of the email. Can IT verify the email for me?
Environment
- WKU Exchange
- WKU TopperMail
Cause
The email came from an address that ends in @wku.edu or otherwise appears to be legitimate WKU communication.
Resolution
Although the WKU email system is the responsibility of ITS, the content of each message is not. ITS is not responsible for verifying the legitimacy of each message. The client should contact the department that appears to have sent the message and ask them to verify the legitimacy of the communication.
