Resetting Internet Explorer

My Internet Explorer browser is not working properly. How do I reset it to the default settings?

Resolution

Note: Resetting Internet Explorer will disable any plugins, empty the cache, and clear any other customizations made to the browser. It is useful for helping browser issues, but may result in some pages not working as expected.

1. Click  (Start).
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Search for Internet.
4. Select Internet Options.
5. Click the Advanced tab.
6. Click Reset....
7. Ensure Delete personal settings is checked.
8. Click Reset.
9. Once the reset completes, restart your computer for the changes to take full effect.
