How do I enable the menu bar in Firefox?

Environment

Cause

Browser upgrades sometimes contain a newly designed user interface. These updated designs sometimes hide the menu bar so that it is more aesthetically pleasing. 

Resolution

Method 1

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Press the ALT key on the keyboard. 
  3. Click View.
  4. Click Toolbars.
  5. Select Menu Bar.
  6. The menu bar should now be preset without pressing the ALT key.

Method 2

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Right click in the open area beside the new tab icon.
  3. Select Menu Bar.
  4. The menu bar should be preset without pressing the ALT key.
