Creating WKU Style Tables in the WYSIWYG Editor

Issue/Question

How do I use WKU styles to make a table responsive in Web CMS?

Environment

  • Web CMS

Cause

Tables inserted using the WYSIWYG editor do not include any styles by default and are not responsive. Table heading rows and cells must also be defined to use the heading styles.

Resolution

Do not use tables to create multi-column layouts. To create columns, use Snippets.
Styles like hover and stripe will apply to table body content automatically. For the red background styling of headers to apply, you must Format Table Header Row and Cells.
  1. Right click anywhere inside a table using the WYSIWYG editor.
  2. Select Table Properties from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the Table Properties dialog, select a WKU Table class from the Class dropdown list.
Note: Insert your note within this text. Preview available table types here.
  4. Click OK.
