How do I add/remove a time entry or leave reporting proxy in TopNet?

Resolution
You must be listed as a main approver to add or remove proxies. To change the main approver for staff, faculty, and student time sheets, please
contact Payroll.
Access Proxy Options
- Log in to TopNet.
- Click Employee Services tab.
- Click Leave Report or Time Sheet.
- Click Approve Web Time Entry or Approve Leave Report.
Note: If you receive a No Leave Report documents available for approval error, click 1 in upper-right corner to dismiss.
- Click Proxy Super User (top right).
From here, you may approve proxy forms, add a new proxy, or remove existing proxies.
- Access proxy options as detailed above.
- Select dropdown beneath Act as a Proxy For to see employees & approval types for whom you act as proxy.
Note: If the correct approval is not listed, the employee will need to add you as a proxy for that approval type.
- Click Navigate to Time & Leave Approvals application.
- Scroll down to see pending approvals. Click dropdowns to filter results.
- Access proxy options as detailed above.
- Click Add New Proxy.
- Click Select Employee to add as Proxy dropdown.
- Type employee name to search.
- Select employee.
- Click Timesheet dropdown to select approval.
Note: If you need to be a proxy for both approvals, repeat steps to add a new proxy and select second approval in step 6.
- Access proxy options as detailed above.
- Within Existing Proxies, select checkbox next to employee.
- Click Delete proxies.
- Click Yes if selection is correct. Click No to cancel deletion.
