Editing an Asset

How do I edit an Asset within Web CMS once it is created?

Environment

  • Web CMS

Cause

Assets cannot be edited directly within Page Editor and may display a "PHP CODE Asset [asset name] cannot be shown in WYSIWYG." error.

Resolution

  1. Click Content.
  2. Select Assets.
  3. Locate your Asset within list using Filter.
  4. Click needed Asset.
  5. Check Out the Asset.
  6. Click Edit.
    Note: Edit will only appear if Asset is Checked Out.
  7. Once edits have been made, Save, Publish, and Check In the Asset.
