Posting to Blog Error

Issue/Question

When I try and submit a blog post, I get the following error:

Not found. The Specified resource was not found or you do not have permission to access it.

Environment

• Blackboard

Cause

This can be caused by the instructor not enabling the blog tool. If the blog tool has been enabled, and the error is still occurring, then it is an issue with Blackboard itself and should be reported.

Resolution

First, it should be verified with the instructor of the course if the blog tool has been made available. It can be made available with these steps:

1. In the Control Panel, click Customization.
2. Click Tool Availability.
3. Locate Blog in the list.
4. Click the checkbox for Available.
5. Click Submit.
