Pasting Text Issues

Issue/Question

When I copy something from a page in my browser and try to paste it into a text box in Blackboard, nothing happens.

Environment

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox

Resolution

  1. Select the text you want to copy.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+C (CMD+C for Mac) to copy the text.
  3. In the content editor box, click the HTML button.
  4. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+V (CMD+V for Mac) to paste the text.
  5. Click Update.
  6. The selected text will now appear in the content editor box.
