Placing Call on Hold

Issue/Question

How do I place a call on hold?

Environment

  • Cisco Phone 8941
  • Cisco Phone 8945

Resolution

  1. Press Hold button. The hold button displays and line button pulses green.
  2. To resume, press pulsing green button, Resume softkey, or Select button in navigation pad.

Note: Pressing the Hold button again does not resume the call.
