Can I plug in a computer to the other port on my telephone?

Resolution
By default, the extra port on your Cisco phone is disabled. WKU IT will enable the port if you meet the following criteria:
- There are no other cabled solutions within close proximity.
- The only devices that may be chained to the Cisco phone are desktop computers and printers.
- The device must be stationary and not a device that is moved on a regular basis.
Note: It is preferable for printers to be used with this connection over desktop computers due to the possible variations in traffic that desktop computers might have.
