Updating Keychain Password

How do I update my Keychain password after updating my NetID password? 

Environment

• macOS

Resolution

1. Open Keychain Access from Applications > Utilities, or Spotlight Search.
2. Select Edit from the menu. 
3. Select Change Password for Keychain "login"...
4. In the field marked Current Password, enter your old NetID password. 
5. In the field marked New Password, enter your new NetID password. 
6. Verify your password. 
7. Click OK to save the settings.
