Extending Desktop Across Monitors

Issue/Question

How do I change the display settings so I can extend my desktop over multiple monitors?

Environment

  • Windows 10

Resolution

Method 1

  1. Use keyboard shortcut Windows Logo Key  + P.
  2. While holding down the Windows Logo Key  , tap the P key until the Extend option is highlighted.

Method 2

  1. Right-click any empty area of your desktop.
  2. Select Display settings.
  3. Click on the Multiple displays drop-down list, and select Extend desktop.
