Blank Screen after Previewing Document

Issue/Question

When I try to preview a document in the Inline Grading feature, my screen remains blank.

Environment

  • Mac OS 10.11+
    • Safari
      • Blackboard

Cause

Cookies are being prevented from allowing the document to be previewed in the Inline Viewer.

Resolution

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click Preferences from the Safari menu. 
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Under Cookies and Website Data, change setting from Allow from websites I visit to Always Allow.
  5. Open the document you wish to preview. The document will appear. If you wish, you can now change your settings back to default.
