Renaming a Printer

How do I rename a printer? 

Environment

• Windows 7+

Resolution

1. Open Control Panel. 
2. In the upper right, change the View By menu to either large icons or small icons. 
3. Click Devices and Printers. 
4. Right-Click the printer you want to rename. 
5. Selected Printer Properties. 
6. Click Change Properties. 
7. Type in the name that you wish to give the printer at the top of the Printer Properties window. 
8. Click OK.
