Issue/Question
How do I allow my participants to make a recording of our Zoom meeting?
Environment
Zoom
Resolution
Participants can make their own local recordings (not cloud recordings) of a meeting in Zoom. However the host must grant each participant permission to do so by doing the following:
Click
Participants
in the controls in the center of the screen.
In the list of names that appears hover over the requesting participant's name and click the
More
button that appears.
In the pop out menu that appears, click the
Allow Recording
option. The participant will be informed that they are now allowed to record the meeting.
