Uninstalling Adobe Reader (macOS)

How do I fully remove Adobe Reader from my Mac?

Resolution

1. Download the Acrobat and Reader Cleaner Utility from Adobe.
2. Open AdobeAcroCleanerTool.dmg to mount the utility.
3. Open AcroCleanerTool.
4. Click Next.
5. Accept the EULA and click Next.
6. Choose Reader and click Next.
7. Verify that only the version(s) of Reader you no longer need is listed.
   Note: If any other versions of Reader or Acrobat are listed that you want to continue using, select it and click Remove to hide it from the cleaner utility.
8. When you are ready to uninstall Adobe Reader, click Clean.
9. Press OK to confirm.
10. Enter your account password in the admin prompt dialog.
11. The cleanup process will begin.
12. When it completes, click OK.
13. Click Quit.
