Turning Off Scanning For Junk Mail (Windows)

Issue/Question

How can I prevent emails that I want to keep from being mislabeled as junk?

Environment

  • Windows
    • Outlook application 

Cause

Scanning for junk mail is on by default within Outlook. 

Resolution

  1. Open Outlook application on your computer.
  2. Select the Home tab.
  3. Select Junk then Junk email options.
  4. Select No automatic filtering.
