Disabling or Enabling Zoom AI Companion

Issue/Question

How do I disable or enable the AI Companion & accompanying features within Zoom?

Cause

Zoom now offers an integrated AI Companion feature which is enabled by default.

Resolution

Zoom Desktop Client

1. Open Zoom Workplace.
2. Click SSO.
   Note: You must click SSO to access your WKU-licensed Zoom account. Do not input your credentials on initial log in screen.
3. Type wku in the company domain box.
4. Click Continue.
5. Click Open Zoom Meetings.
6. Click profile icon in top right
7. Click Settings.
8. In General tab, click View more settings .
9. Your account settings should open in a browser window.
10. In AI Companion tab, toggle AI Companion panel in Zoom Workplace to off or on.
    1. To generate meeting summaries, toggle Meeting summary with AI Companion to on. 
    2. To use Voice Recorder with AI Companion, toggle Voice Recorder with AI Companion to on. 

Zoom for Web

1. Navigate to Zoom via wku.zoom.us.
2. Click Sign in.
3. Sign in using your WKU Email Address and password. 
4. You may be prompted to authenticate using Microsoft Authenticator.
5. Click Settings.
6. In AI Companion tab, toggle AI Companion panel in Zoom Workplace to off or on.
   1. To generate meeting summaries, toggle Meeting summary with AI Companion to on. 
   2. To use Voice Recorder with AI Companion, toggle Voice Recorder with AI Companion to on.
